Dear Fans,
This Elvis Week, Dwight is only competing in the King of the World   Championship. This is the first year for the
contest. The Event is sanctioned by the Elvis Entertainers Network and many World Champions from other
contests held during Elvis Week have entered and are competing in this contest.
How is this contest different? From what we understand n the other World Championship, once you win the title
you can no longer compete for the World title. BUT in King of the World, ETA can keep competing for the title,
weather they with the championship or not. The best ETA wins.
Unlike other contests, the King of the World contest is offering  a live stream for their contests so that people
across the world can watch their favorite ETA's compete. Think Elvis Presley's Aloha from Hawaii Concert and
how that was the first concerts put out across the world.
If you get a chance to watch the livefeed from the contest you will not be
devastated (Keep in mind though, that it is streaming live, so the sound is
    way better than the picture.)
I have done my best to provide you with the livefeed links offered by The
King of the World Championship Below. I will also be updating the Dwight
Icenhower Fan Club Facebook page as the event is playing live tonight. If
the stream is up, I will be on there reporting as it happens.
Also look to this page for my comments on what Dwight sang and what he
wore in the contest. I am not in Memphis this year, so I have been relying
on the livefeeds and any contact I am able to get from those at the event
or from Dwight and his wife Vicky.
My wish is for Dwight to win this first ever title! He can do it! We believe
he can do it, however win or lose, he will always be OUR King of the World!
If you have pictures from this contest in Memphis, please email them to
webmaster@dwighticenhowerfanclub,.com and we will upload these to the
website and for possible use on the facebook page and the newsletter.
     I'll be in touch,
    Jennifer
